He advised his followers to render unto Caesar that which is Caesar’s. In other words, pay your taxes to the government….which should then redistribute the money to the poor since he also believed that rich people couldn’t get into heaven. Your exegesis needs a little work……Okay, a lot.
Lift people up and they become taxpayers, seems so simple and obvious. Poverty is detrimental to all of society.

But if you did that, lifting everyone up, then those with all the money wouldn’t feel as special.
