FrayedBear just brought my attention to a video that I need to study and do a post on. I've seen this guy in it before, it may have even been the same video. I probably blew it off due to the fact that it's hard to get people to view video content. But it correlates with a meme I recently came across which I'll share now to set a prelude to attempt to induce interest. As I stated recently, I'm seeing what appears to be more interest in a sort of agreement with my post. I hope that's a good sign. But the message that will be delivered in the video is something we've already been through before after WWll. And the fall back to reliving it again, the meme sings true. Please put some thought into this meme! Then the video later. Evolving can either go towards worse, or for the better. We're heading towards worse currently.
When they made that comment about evolving werent they talking about Trump & his red cancer cap wearing Maga brigade of supporters? (red cancer cap - fail to protect the back of the neck, the nose & ears - the first places to get melanoma from sun exposure)
Is it simply as Professor Cipolla said?
The 5 basic laws of human stupidity, according to Cipolla
“The stupid ones are more fearsome than Mafia, the military-industrial complex or the Communist International. They’re an unorganized group, without a leader or norm, but in spite of that, they act in perfect harmony, as guided by an invisible hand."
“With the smile on his lips, as if he were doing the most natural thing in the world, the stupid will appear on the spur of the moment to spoil your plans, destroy your peace, complicate your life and work, make you lose money, time, good humor, productivity, and all this without malice, without remorse and without reason. Stupidly”.
These are the words of the famous professor of economic history Carlo Cipolla, who taught at the universities of Pavia and Berkeley and published academic works in which he analyzed overpopulation throughout history but passed to posterity thanks to his “Theory of Stupidity”, condensed in his book “The Basic Laws od Human Stupidity”, a treatise on human stupidity with satirical overtones.

Good sentiment but geez pal, 6 words when one would be sufficient in your intro?
I almost wandered off...
You did wander off many decades ago.
What common misconception of evolution are you going by with this post? How is the particular brand of ideology or misconception someone currently carries reflective of allelic change over generational time?
I mean the adoption of dairying may have led to lactase persistence, but that’s not what you are alluding to here. Maybe there’s a reason 1/3 of people are more susceptible to authoritarian thinking in certain sociocultural circumstances. Does that make them more or less evolved in an ascending or descending scalar sense per adaptive evolution?
Given a majority of our genome is littered with neutral or nearly neutral junk I’m not sure I know what you are getting at. Better or worse is a false dichotomy in nonadaptive evolution.
Is it something like the misleading caricature of human evolution rendered in the illustration here?:
