I agree 100% with you. To regain influence in both chambers of the legislature, we have to start bottoms up.
Go and vote in the Congressional elections to put Trump on notice that he has to respect the wishes of the American people. Why do you think Trump is able to violate our laws with impunity? Because Congress is full of Republicans that are too spineless to call Trump on his misdeeds. He needs to face the music. He is ten times more corrupt than R Nixon. No one says peep about his treasonous behavior. Forgive me for my rudeness but Bill Clinton was impeached over a blowjob. Trump has committed treason in more than one occasion and the Republicans are too spineless to do anything about him.

That is a great way to look at things. On e always think about the top candidates when we should start from the bottom and go up from there. We have representatives and senators that actually can make a difference. Take a few minutes and read about the candidates (both sides) and make a judgement call from there. The politicians like Trump want us to remain dumb so we vote for them. I vote my wallet like the rich man does. I look how much this or that candidate will cost me and take it from there. I cannot understand how we can have a president that speaks in 4th grade English. It is embarrasing and very dangerous. We have arguably the most corrupt administration ever, We have to get out the vote and kick them on the teeth.

Hope there are many more people that share your worldview, if we ever going to have some real, positive change in the US. I feel safer living in Canada but I know what's happening south of the borders as I have lots of family in New York City, where I came from.
