It doesn't matter what I think of McCain. He was a long-serving Senator and a former POTUS Nominee. If it flew half mast from death to interment for Ted Kennedy, it should be the same for McCain. Trump is a petulant toddler with no class or sense of either history or occasion.

The flag should be at half mast for any state dignitary that dies. Senators and representatives, judges, etc. Trump isn't following the rules (there are rules about this).
But then Billy Graham lay in state in the capitol rotunda for days. Thats nearly criminal in my opinion. It violates separation of church and state.
