This overly-long, bitchy article somehow failed to make room for the author's "glorious solution" to the cesspool that is our two party system. So much was distorted and just flat out wrong in this article that it isn't even worth the effort to line-item debunk it. When you start implying that the (admittedly) flawed Dems are just as bad as Trump &Company, you have already lost all credibility.

Far better it would be to write a separate article (or several) on specific policy and strategy fronts that surely need to happen for Democrats than to assault the reader with a grotesque false equivalency. The author has lost his freaking mind. I suspect he has overdosed on his ideology purity medicine.

Sooo the decline of some American industries that didn't modernize, or are no longer viable, or were mismanaged is the fault of other countries. Check.

Too many in America want to believe it can exist outside the world economy. Good luck with that.
