Missouri bill could criminalize protesting 'critical infrastructure' pipelines and facilities, raising First Amendment concerns [stltoday.com]
So they can continue to destroy the earth, but without anybody nagging them.
This is a bill developed by American Legislative Exchange Council, or ALEC. They are very careful on the wording here and it does not appear to violate the First Amendments Free Speech or Free Assembly clauses. It is an expansion of 569.0101, 569.140 and 569.150 RSMo. One may still protest off property as long as the property is not damaged or destroyed. I believe that we will be hard pressed to argue against this law in court.
Protest anyway fuck em
@altschmerz yes but not as much as people think. One step follows another keep moving forward. Keep standing up. Keep speaking up. We are not alone
This is scary
@altschmerz I am getting tired of American oligarchs rewriting laws for their own convenience and profit.
