I found this very interesting reading. Explains a lot about why Trump and the Right find the group so scary.

First, I really liked the article. I see the similarities.

From my point of view, IMO, the right likely finds this group scary for two primary reasons.

This group is growing, and it is a threat to the largest voting group supporting the Right. This of course is the Christians.
Second, This group is for clean energy. The Republican Party has become the monetary marrionett of the petroleum industry.
