We have to find political and social solutions that are suitable for the type of the society we are. We cannot want what we wished we had but we must work on what we can have - pragmatically.

The Scandinavian countries did what those societies were ready for. Those are progressive societies. We are not. Each country's Constitution is different, no two are alike. In India, there is no jury system in courts although the entire penal code was modeled after the British code because the jury system would never work in the land of the cronies, crooks and corrupt. It would be a travesty of justice.

The United States is a capitalist country, is still largely controlled by the capitalists and religion. They have quite a grip on the levers of the government and democratic institutions. To convert the systems to socialism or any form of it, you will need a revolution.... not the stupid revolution that Bernie Sanders is calling for. He is just extolling voters to come out in large numbers and vote him in the White House. Once elected, he will not not be able to move anything in Washington. He will not have a single bill on his table to sign through the Senate and the House. The revolution we will need is the one where people come out in streets and overthrow the corrupt rulers and take charge of all institutions to start anew.

Bernie is selling people shit. He is a dream peddler.

Therefore, find a winnable candidate and promise only one big thing that YOU CAN ACHIEVE. Do not ride on crazy radical candidates and promise a pie in the sky. You will never get there ever.

The problem with Bernie is that he is a dream peddler and his followers are hallucinating. We cannot win with what we wish we had, what we want to have or what we could have but... we go to war to win with "what we can have." The war strategies are based on realities, not dreams.

My criticism of Bernie feels brutal because it is based on the realities on the ground. We will be here after the nominations and the general in 2020. Let us see whose judgement was close to the truth.
