@NJSnarky apparently you didn’t listen to the clip with which my reply agreed. But you hit the nail on the head with the insults to Hillary and the Jewish remark. Bernie bros said this crap about Hillary and now about Warren but anyone says the same about him and I’m the troll!This is why I won’t vote for Bernie because he’s divisive and angry and sounds like the cranky narcissistic character on CYE.

Bernie is not like any of those transformative presidents you mentioned who were lifelong Democrats who could build coalitions. His speeches aren’t poetic like JFK’s or calm and powerful like LBJ’s, they are just argumentative rants. Bernie has been an independent for all of his political life who has little legislation to show for it because he has no power or support from a party. You think that’s going to change if he’s president?

@Killtheskyfairy Not exactly on topic here, but I'm going to have to stand up for "old wild-haired guys". The fact is, 65% of us males are going to lose hair -- it's built in hormonally. Sparse hair goes "wild" unless you grease it down, which opens up men to another layer of ridicule. Half the women "friends" who give me such helpful advice nag me -- yes, nag -- to get myself a "number one" cut, shaved to the nub for the sake of "tidiness". This is something they wouldn't dream of nagging another woman to do. Sure, it might be tidy on a man (a good indicator of a reliable workhorse who will keep the lawns down), but whoever was responsible for half the older men looking these days like they're survivors from concentration camps, a chain gang or the US Marines needs bullwhipping.

"Wild-eyed" used to be the cautionary warning about someone's potential behavior -- nothing to do with hair. Won't find many wild-eyed (or wild-haired) politicians in the US today -- because it speaks of passion and single-minded devotion to a cause, definitely not tidiness as a priority. When's the last time you saw a Republican with a single hair out of place, treated and permed within an inch of its life?

@Garbonza, @NJSnarky Bernie has been the independent rep /senator of tiny Vermont with its low population for decades but what has he gotten done? He has been one of the most ineffective legislators in that time. He insults Democrats and his followers call them corrupt so why does he keep coming back to run as a Democrat? He likes to pretend that he’s like FDR but FDR was a lifelong Democrat who was a governor of New York and actually worked with his party to get things done. Bernie is a cult leader who promises all these democratic ideas that have been around since FDR but has no power to get them done and is so divisive he never will.

Didn't really see this as a feminist issue at all -- In fact, I admire Warren in almost every way, not only her policies and enthusiasm but her sharp sense of humor. Wouldn't mind her as president at all. As for the other issue, you wouldn't consider changing your circle of men? Their tendencies of objectifying a whole gender seem to be rubbing off a little. Bernie certainly has his issues -- erroneously calls himself a socialist in a strange attempt to be sexy instead of a social democrat which is what he is -- but since the U.S. is a two-party state he could hardly side with the Repugnicans.
