I agree but changing the number of senators will never happen because constitutional amendments have to be ratified by the states. No one gives their power away.

I come from one of those smaller States which has benefited greatly from the current system. Federal jobs in the defense industry and other pork barrel projects keep Us alive. They also keep the asshats in office.

If you have an idea about how to change this please share. I am ready for a change even though my state will lose.

I see the point you are trying to make but the same can be said for the next two most populated states Texas with almost 30 million and florida about 22 million.

Of course they didn’t. Women didn’t get the right to vote until 1920 and they are half the population. Still don’t have full rights and protections.
