I have just taken the almost unheard of steps..at least for me, of blocking someone from this group. In a group titled “Freethinkers “ I was hesitant, as it seems kind of contrary to my freethinking instincts, but reluctantly I’ve decided what this member was posting was purely to shock and aggravate rather than to elicit any real discourse or debate.
I hope you agree with my decision and will have already guessed the member to whom I’m referring.
What sort of 'freethinker' reposts hate-mongering propaganda to get attention? He's a patriot alright - - for Russia. What kind of country can the US be where a third of its citizens gladly take their news from a foreign adversary and re-spew these lies as virtue signaling?
Bu-Bye, asshat! Here's hoping the door whacked his ass on the way out.......
I blocked him the first day I noticed him, some people are so desperate for attention, they'd rather be disgusting than ignored. It's better for him to not let him get away with it.
I don’t like to be too censorious as group moderator, but he had a chance to post in a reasonable manner and chose not to,
You did the right thing, he is no freethinker he is a Troll, and not even a good one, he throws tantrums when people call him on it
Thanks …that reassures me I’ve done the right thing.
