It kinda goes both ways. It seems you aren't allowed to disagree with anyone, or their beliefs (or lack thereof) or you are considered a bad person. Not just someone who disagrees with a point-of-view, but a defective, evil person.

the current right wing , conform or die mentality quite frankly scares the crap out of me. The hijacking of civil society is darn near complete. If the ultra evangelical right wing nationalists get their way. There will be a purge in this country that will make the Islamic revolution in Iran look like a cakewalk.
I always speak my mind... When appropriate.. it prevents misunderstandings...
