If someone described me as an introvert who is kind of weird, I would say "Thank you" and "Thank you". I think there is nothing more unfunny than an extrovert taking up all the oxygen in the room and laughing at his own stupid comments. My own sense of adventure and free imagination are much bettor companions.....and lead me to some great "weird" fun. And if another introvert can roll that way with me too, that is also great.
I am dubious of the value in self-categorization but I find the comments in this section interesting. I liked the fairly recent Robert Redford film "A Walk in the Woods", especially the part when Jane Fonda tells him he should try talking to more people, to which he responds with consternation, "... but I don't LIKE talking to people!"
That is so true. I have finally come to accept myself as an introvert and not be bothered how other people see me. I've tried to change but it just doesn't work. Now I love myself as an introvert, I think we're pretty special people.
That is funny. I tried step-by-step to be more outgoing. It only took me 30 years.
