As an introvert we are in a minority. Chances are we have all dated an extrovert at some point. Did the difference in personalities put a strain on your relationship?
My late wife was very much an extrovert. Singer in a country band, very successful in sales. She was very good for me and helped me come out and be a little more social. I always envied people like that. She's been gone almost 4 years and I find myself closing down again. I live on 5 acres of woods and wouldn't have it any other way.
I was married to an extrovert for nearly ten years, but it wasn't the difference in personalities that caused our problems, difference in values, perhaps. As far as him being an extrovert, it actually was a decent balance because he could go out in the world as much as he wanted, and it only gave me more of the alone time I needed.
