I wasnt always an introvert. For me, it was acquired. I use to be the center of attention, life of the party, all eyes on me type. That just doesnt suit me anymore. I like focusing on myself, and doing what I like, regardless of what is deemed "better".
I can relate to that. As I grew older I felt I no longer needed all that attention
Yeah, I was a wild child, but, now 30, I feel no need to make an ass of myself for the amusement of others.... well, at least not random strangers. I still very much make an ass of myself around close friends and family.
@SoullessHeathen I am a complete ass in front of some of my closest friends, my other close friends will probably ever know

Not bragging, just saying, introversion can be an acquired trait over time, not necessarily something that always just is.
