I will be looking after my daughters dog while they are at friends for a few days.Hope it doesn't bite me like the last time with all the fireworks.
Has he/she tried a thunder shirt? Or drugs, if all else fails. I had a dog that used to get valium for thunderstorms and fireworks. Had to plan ahead though as it took a bit for the effect to kick in.

@itsmedammit Don't think the noise effected the dog too much .After a few barks came back to me for a pat.Next time I will take the Valium and wear sound cancelling head phones.lol
