I dine out alone frequently, and I don't mind, as long as I can find a booth somewhere in a corner or against the wall where there's nobody around. Inevitably they will seat 4 people at an adjacent booth or table and I'm a captive audience to their conversation. It's bad enough that most restaurants have ear splitting music playing, but now I've got to listen to that on top of it.
