Have you all read the book “Quiet”? I loved it. It helped me see myself differently.
It's definitely a great book! One insight I enjoyed was that an introvert who is involved in an activity that they are passionate about can out-extrovert an extrovert.
Indeed! Give me a topic I'm knowledgeable and passionate about and I'm right up there in front of a crowd explaining my position. I do it all the time and I'm not a bit shy about it. But throw me in a party where I don't know a soul and I look for the dog to play with. So there are people who exhibit both introvert and extrovert tendencies at the same time under different circumstances. I'm one.
I have not, I will add that to my future reading list, thank you.
