Boy I do love spring. The wind and rain beat up the dark Iris yesterday so I had to tie it to keep it upright. The last photo is an Ornamemtal Plum, my Raini's tree. I love the deep color and how the light shimmers on the leaves.

I'm always surprised by our little suburban ecosystem. Asparagus popping up in a flox bed in our front yard. Wind? Chipmunks? Anyways, it will go into my lunch salad.

It seems its Earth Day, and we have to celebrate the things we do for nature. Well, I don't do a lot but when I create a garden it usually turns out very untidy, which I am told is a really good thing. Though I don't do it only because its good, ...

I came home after having been away for two months. Well the person who was going to water my indoor plants either did not bother or gave them a tea spoon each. A lot of them died. What does one do, rant and rave or start over again.
