I can feel the lovely taste of home grown tomatoes already.
I tell the grands that tomatoes fresh off the vine taste like liquid sunshine. Granddaughter loves to pick and eat them. Grandson took a bite of one and spit it out. He's two, I don't think he will be an adherent for a few years.
Nice crop, I bet they are already gone.
Not yet! The cherry tomatoes will go in salads this week, and the other tomatoes will become sauce eventually.
It almost feels like you could had arranged in a way to look like an art piece.
Looks delicious
I had a comment from a FB friend that is an art teacher that it was well composed. I literally pulled them out of the sink after I washed them and put them on the drying mat. Then scrunched them together to get a picture with no counter showing. A very lucky shot!
@HippieChick58 that's for sure. I was just thinking that is already artistic and pretty shot, but perhaps "build" an organic shape of some kind.
Anyway, it looks delicious.
Nice photo. Enjoy! We just finished my first gazpacho of the season. What will you do with yours?
The cherry tomatoes will go into salad next week. The other tomatoes will likely become sauce.
