My pink Buddleja, Butterfly Bush, looks great, especially against the dark red Acer. Yet I did not plant it, it is just a self sown seedling, there are several gardens with Buddlejas in the village of various colours so they must have crossed and self sown. If I had rooted it out early, I would not have it, it pays to be not too tidy in the garden.

Does it attract a lot of butterflies? I had a butterfly bush in my old garden and I would get actual clouds of butterflies.
