I am not going anyplace without my kids, and my stateside kids have extended family in the area. One of my kids is in the Netherlands, and I think she and her babies are safer over there than in the USA.

Of course there are. Everywhere you turn there are good people. There are a crap ton of less than good people as well, and that is what makes it difficult.
