What is a commercial or other fertilizer, phosphorous rich to feed a jasmine in zone 8b?
Comfrey is great to make a natural fertilizer that has Nitrogen, Phosphorus and Potassium, and many trace elements. It's very easy to grow or you can buy it. Also when I was just googling it for the nutrient content I saw that you can make a "phosphorus tea" with grass clippings.

I think with fertilizer as well as vitamins it's better to get it naturally because we know so little about the benefits of the other things nutrient rich food has to offer beyond what we put in a prepared solution. Like we are just beginning to know about human microbiome and all the minute affects from the things we eat. Same with plants. It is alot less specific though. Synthetics are easier and have a set amount of everything.
Osmo Cote is another pellet you put on the ground that dissolves a bit when you water.
