Luckily a few survived the 20Β° temps the past couple of nights.

Me too
I love blue

Nice color in those photos. Are you shooting with anything special? I am fairly camera illiterate, other than I know what a DSLR is, so dont' get too technical on me. πŸ™‚

My phone.... Samsung

Those are hyacinths, yes?

I believe so. I bought a ton of bulbs 3 years ago (on sale) to plant on my hillside. I opened all the bags, dumped them together & started planting....

One day of warmth and my nectarine tree is starting to spout, my fig is unfurling a couple of leaves, and it looks like my all spice tree is going to make it. I still have a ton of stuff inside though.

I hope you won't lose your allspice

Before we know it spring will be surrounding us with joy, warmth & beauty ?

@Zoohome I checked on it a few hours ago and I think most of the stress was from not being watered enough. I forgot that when the hot tub broke, that the humidity level would drop like a rock, so I didn't pay as much attention to it as i should.

@Zoohome, @Heidi68 screw waiting for the warmth, I'm headed to the casino this weekend, (outlook for sping thunderstorms this weekend) and get my crawfish fix.

@glennlab you going to Winstar?

@Heidi68 Margarittaville, I like it better and there are more casinos if it's not going good there. Foods better too. I get free rooms and food, so it's a pleasant way to spend the weekend.

@glennlab Vegas? I was thinking since you were in Dallas (right) Winstar was just up 35...

@Heidi68 No shereveport/Bossier City, I also go out to Barksdale AFB while I am there to refill my liquor cabinette and visit the commissary. Vegas is next month.(Pink concert, I hear she puts on a great show and I couldn't get them to give me Lady Gaga tickets.)

@glennlab forgot to add last night - love Buffett so I am a bit jealous, even though you are just going to a casino...

Hope it continues to get warmer.

Suppose to be in the 60s next week but that 'mean' weather woman said something horrible about wintery mix later tonight - what is up with that!

@Heidi68 Calling for 80 here tomorrow! I'm running the AC tonight. Was running the heat two days ago. Weird weather that's for sure.

@Redheadedgammy that is crazy! Bam straight to summer....

@Heidi68 It is insane down here sometimes. Sometimes I really miss Northern Calif. where I was raised. Back in the 60's and 70's when I lived there the weather was pretty mild and I remember loving the fact that if I wanted I could drive a couple of hours to find snow in one direction, drive a couple hours in another and be at the beach enjoying the waves. Those were the days.....
