St Croix US Virgin Is. again - today in the rather dry rainforest - an orchid blooming, Quisqualis or Rangoon Creeper (amazing scent at night), salad just picked (arugula, basil, baby sweet potato leaves, hibiscus flowers, green papaya), and lastly the first ripe cacao pods (for chocolate and the delicious fruit pulp inside, and for planting more!)
It is so wonderful to know someone is living with and enjoying the bounty of growing things you have!!
Reminds me of living on Mustique and having Callaloo soup for lunch. I do miss it.
So jealous! They are all so vibrant & beautiful.
The orchids - what is it attached to? Fence? And how is it attached - naturally or did you do something to get it to stay? Sorry for all the questions but I am becoming quite fascinated with orchids.
