too large for a honey bee, most likely a bumble bee
I thought maybe it was a bumblebee, but I donβt see the typical fuzziness or markings.
@Insectra Thanks for checking out my insects! I donβt have a better shot of the grasshopper, but it is typical of the species here in Eastern Kansas. Iβll tag you if I get a better photo. Meanwhile, hereβs another look at that beeβjust cuz . I have a slo-mo video of it but canβt seem to load it.
