It is just stacked right now...kind of a dry run. I do plan to make it more permanent with cement mortar. But since we are self quarantined I don't want to go get the stuff yet. So I'm going to start using it and will morter it and probably paint the side visible from the house eventually. But for now it is functional as long as I don't push it over...lol. Besides I want to get compost started. Will start putting stuff in it today. Mostly horse manure and grass clippings and old hay and other yard twigs and such. In a month or so I hope to have the first batch for my garden which is now just a figment of my imagination and a rectangular mark out in the yard.
I have one that size but not out of concrete blocks. It was designed to be turned with my husband's front end loader. I sold the loader to my neighbor when he died with the agreement that he would among other things keep the compost pile turned. With 2 piles you will be able to use yours a lot more quickly.

I made this one just wide enough so my little tractor's bucket will get in there. Just about 6ft between the bins. Tractor's bucket is 66 inches wide
very good job. I would suggest laying about 4-10 layers of newspapers at the bottom, it will allow worms to come in, but also retain moisture rather than it going into the soil immediately.
