Anyone have naturally growing plants that Monarch butterflies feed on during migration? I have milkweed on my place.

Only milkweed here, I think I have the only ones in my area, but some places I worked a few miles inland have thousand of the plants, all covered in caterpillars at times. So good.

I've got a few varieties of milkweed; I've been encouraging it to take over my almost acre yard. New England Aster is popular with the bees, too.

Yes part of our property is growing wild so we have lots of wild flowers

I have at least five species of native Milkweed in my gardens and in my "ditch".
I also have Liatris lingulistylis, or Meadow Blazing Star and Mexican Sunflowers for the southern trip.
Zinnias and Cosmos work too.
For Swallowtails, parsley, Fennell and dill

I do, they are all over in my front yard. Got a lot of butterflys in the summer because of these.

In addition to a whole lot of milkweed, lots of native perennials including coneflowers, black-eyed Susan's, and daisies. Also butterfly weed and butterfly bushes.

Still have not seen the first monarch of the season here in central Illinois. ?

That's a bunch!

@farmboy2017 They are all wildflowers here. I have a hard time keeping the neighbors from weedwhacking them, especially the thistles.
