Some of my yummies. At least the critters think everything is yummy. Birdies have wiped out my blueberries & are snacking on my blackberries. Anyone have a clue what is eating my strawberries? And a couple of ?cute? critters.

Two daylilies with rather similar coloring, blooming on the same day, on different plants ... look at the difference in size! and although both use the yellow and red palette, there is the subtle hue differences and 'eye' pattern. I photographed them...

It's been 2-3 months since the avocados set, now many are 3.5" long. 2 months to go, with any luck though they are at their best in October. (We use them from Aug to Dec in a good year).

When I first moved into my house, the backyard was nothing but weeds and dirt. I spent many hours digging up daylilies along the railroad tracks with my girlfriend and planted them along the banks. They have multiplied with no help from me...
