It's Spring where I live so I have been planning for my Summer garden. I have strawberries and raspberries (from previous years) starting to grow back. I will definitely be growing tomatoes, sweet bell peppers, jalapeños, marijuana, and sunflowers....

If ever there was an argument for spontaneous generation, it would have to be the weeds in my garden. Every year, I have all sorts of grass and others come up and grow like crazy, and every year I pull them thinking next year will have to have fewer....

Those of us in MA will miss him. He was full of knowledge. He spoke at garden clubs and gave us all good advice.

Syrphid Fly larva, or Hover Fly. Gardeners' Buddy. Eats lots and lots of aphids. Holds them up and chugs down their juices. Yummy!

Don't forget to do your part! The only reason North Coasters ever locked their car doors, just saying....
