I purchased 3 lilac bushes to attract butterflies in a sunny part of my back yard. The ground was really bad so I replaced 5x5x2 area for each one with gardener soil for plants, soil amendment and loomy (sp?) top soil. All 3 died within two weeks. I ...

Ok we had to cut back the Everglades tomatoes they were getting out of hand. And don’t worry our birds don’t eat the leavers they just like the tomatoes. The leaves have a bitter taste they don’t like.
