My garden has a wildlife pond, and today I spotted the first frog-spawn of the season, I do not know how the cold blooded creatures do it this early in the year, when there is ice round the pond edges some mornings.

Picked my first green beans of the year -- 2 pounds. Will start with Hoisin glazed green beans, then follow with beans and bacon and skillet cornbread. Should have pickings of 2 to 5 pounds at least twice a week for several weeks. Always grow more...

My rose Bush surprises me everytime. This come back made the flower like this, almost no form and shape, and it is fragrant. The second picture is back in October, you can see how it was previously. Love this rose!
