Amy freestanding and dehydrating our Ice Cream Bananas what do you do when you with your bananas when you have more than you can eat?

I haven’t post in like a week Amy and I have been really sick this whole week. I did manage to get the new bedroom built for my son some how. And shot a quick video this morning.

Our first lettuce harvest from the swing set garden.

The first hand of our Ice Cream Bananas are finally ripe and we get to do a little taste test. Anyone else growing Bananas?

Amy giving a update on the food forest and homestead

Been busy here lately. Getting ready for my sister and mother coming down to stay with us for a while. But I did manage to make a quick video of Bradyn and I planting our Cranberry Hibiscus cuttings.

The family who star in this video are mostly living off the land on a city lot, 1/4 acre, in Australia. I hope to make a similar garden.

Making Pumpkin purée and roasting pumpkin seeds. We had to use store pumpkin since the vine borers destroyed our pumpkins this year.

Here’s how we hang the and ripen bananas

Here is the video of use harvesting the bananas and chop and drop the rest of the plant. You get a good look at the banana stalk and how banana grow.

Had to do some repairs to the deck and some cleaning up. And Amy made a hell of a dent in the would chips.

Had some wind blowing the side flaps of our greenhouse but it was a simple fix.

The worms have destroyed our seminal pumpkins. We wanted to make room for a fall garden so we pulled the pumpkins and beans. The flock eat good today.
