I have a gripe, and it is against myself,

I find low carb diets work. When I keep my daily carb count to under 60 per day, I lose 5 lbs per month. However all I have to do is have one day when I spurge, and BAM, I gain 2-3 lbs. It isn't fair.

Carbs increase water retention, it is a well-known phenomenon, just keep on keeping on.....

Find a different diet plan, one that doesn’t result in your wanting to stop dieting.

I find that near-fasting — a light snack instead of a full meal — works. It’s also speedier than your five pounds per month plan.
