First and foremost this is obviously just my opinion but ley me tell you I'm no spring chicken and I've been going in and out of ketosis for over 40 years.
Besides the obvious lack of intake its 90% mental knowing this, it's also dangerous and can lead to anorexia, bulimia, food hoarding and other disorders leading to needing serious medical attentiion and often resulting in hospitalization.
BUT
it definitely works so BE CAREFUL
I've done it on and off, mostly on, since 1998. No issues. I am 63 and take no medicine for anything, great bio-markers, work out hard 3X a week.....you get the idea. Any diet can lead to disorders. In this case, I think it is the dieter, not the diet.
@GuyKeith I have. They tell me to keep doing whatever it is I am doing.
It certainly is not for everyone just as a whole lot of things in life. Thanks for sharing your personal experience. I certainly think people would do some research for themselves before jumping in to ANY meal plan...and look how things have changed over the years as well...seems like something new and contrary appears weekly now. I hope you find what works for you. I personally love keto and feel my best without trying. But, I heed your warning to be careful and watch for any warning signs.
