It does not mention a ketogenic diet directly but does state that healthy fats are necessary for the brain along with eating whole foods, sleeping enough, avoiding processed foods, and exercising. Elevated blood sugar and pre-diabetes can double your chance for dementia and Alzheimer's.
I am a firm believer that my mom's following that nonfat push by the medical community for decades absolutely contributed to her Alzheimer's. Absolutely!!
