Having a generator is a great asset if the weather gets bad. Once, during a flood, I used my generator to save my refrigerated food for almost a month while the infrastructure was being rebuilt. The mask is definitely a good move to have a few of. I won't recommend a Glock but some self defense method would surely make you feel safer too, during these stressful times.
