Wire coat hangers were used by desperate women to commit abortions (so the myth goes) on themselves or their friends, or maybe just crying strangers; before Roe vs. Wade. We'll just have to wait and see if they make a comeback after the rethugs get through with the Supreme Court. You're welcome.
