Economies never trickle down they always trickle up.... Unless the upper tier tax rate is high the rich and large corporations hold onto the money instead of using it to create more good paying jobs....
That's the problem with the Rich wanting to have their cake and eat it too. They want all the money but then they find that even that is not enough, they have to make sure that nobody else has any money so they can feel even better about their sorry asses. The rub is that they wind up killing their own customers off and wind up with less instead of more but you can never make them realize this because they think they know everything when all they really understand is unbridled greed.
