This statement is correct. It is impossible to say that a vacuum is COMPLETELY empty until the space being investigated contains detectors for all materials and radiations that exist AND have yet to be discovered and invented. This is one of the reasons why I sometimes suggest that we give up talking about god altogether and watch what happens.
..but for the rest of our collection of materials, radiations and spaces it is impossible to say that science is not useful.

Science does nothing in proving or disproving a god either way. Science has never been ignorant enough to take on that argument. It always had something better to do.

A person who is willfully ignorant can change if they want to. This cannot be said for the stupid. They have always been, are now, and will be stupid until the day they die.

Luddites suck, and not in the good way.
Science makes no attempt to prove or disprove God because none of this is about a God.
It’s like saying there’s teams of scientists trying to disprove leprechauns, equally idiotic.

Bloody scientists. Now they are trying to disprove the existence of Nessie. How dare they.

@Moravian It would theoretically be very possible to disprove Nessie .. but where would you store all the water from Lock Lomand whilst you are looking? . Chances are it is not worth the bother.

@Mcflewster I think they are using some sort of sonar device. Incidentally she lives in Loch Ness not Loch Lomond.

I guess I'm an asshole.

I've not heard biology described so succinctly. What are your thoughts on physics and chemistry?
