One of my nephews' wives posted this. I'm fairly certain that my reaction to it means I don't have an ounce of romance left in me. (I'm not even going to start on the mistakes in grammar)
If anyone tried to do most of what's on this list, I'd get annoyed AF and probably say something super snarky so it would never be attempted again.

When my late wife would take her morning shower, and at night before bed,I'd have towels hot from the dryer,many times dinner would be waiting( I cook too),or we'd go out to eat.simple things,hugs,kisses,true affections.....

I wasn't implying that those things aren't desirable for others.
To each their own. That you and your wife enjoyed those things together is wonderful.
Not sure I would care for half of these.
I could take a massage and I am just happy when someone hears me screaming for a towel (after I finished showering and realized I pulled the dirty towels when doing laundry and never replaced them)

I am to the point where I am so damned content to live alone, it's not even funny.
I have absolutely no desire whatsoever to put up with anyone else's bullshit. I don't want to share my space with anyone but the dog.
I know where everything is at all times, and there's no one else around to move stuff and get in the way.
The peace and quiet are divine.
