Paddy was far too fond of Guinness and was often to be found in the pub, when he should have been at work…
One day the boss was passing Paddy's local pub, spotting Paddy’s car he went in, as Paddy had phoned in to say he had a dental appointment…
The boss sat down in a quite corner and called Paddy over, he said to Paddy, “I’m afraid I’ll have to let you go” “why so”, says Paddy, "It’s your excuses, you have had 108 teeth out, buried 9 grandmothers, 14 grandfathers, had every disease known to man, in fact, you only gave one excuse that I believed" ... “which one would that be,” says Paddy, “the time you said you were suffering from severe amnesia and forgot where you worked…"
