Technically, a "diet" is a list, an itemization of what you/I eat....so we're all on a "diet"...it's just that some of us have to pay closer attention to that "diet" to get our weight under control.
Too many of us have habits that were created before we could walk and talk that required us to have something in our mouths when we were stressed...or often...when we were just ignored. It's this pre-cognition eating habit that creates this...
Before you go hating your parents, a disclaimer...it's not our parent's fault; they were doing the best with what they knew....but it's a warning to parents out there...
