Yes, most of them never read and/or only read specific parts of it. Also, some of the clergy project pastors have stated how church members comments caused them to be frustrated and discouraged when they were sharing their knowledge.

@altschmerz Yes, he has talked about the contradictions and many other wordage problems with the bible.
