How rude and dangerous - undressing your banana to expose it to plantain immune virus (PIV)!
That's a very common misconception about peeled bananas. Studies funded by the CBDC (Centers for Banana Disease Control and Prevention) have shown that peeled bananas have the same rate of contracting PIV as unpeeled bananas. Plus, people's banana preference between peeled and unpeeled is entirely subjective. A lot of my lady friends prefer the look and feel of a peeled banana.
