If you zoom in as close as possible you can see they are all the same color, like a silvery color. However, the color lines in front of the balls are the same as the color your eyes perceive. Optical illusion or power of suggestion or just the eye's ability to discern different colors based on proximity. Like the earth appears blue from space but there are infinite colors at the surface.
