So i dissed some jackass on facebook about an hour ago, and i keep check back to see if he's replied & going to 'fight' me. Pissed off that he hasn't yet. I'm in a Stabby mood.

#1. Remember; the lowest form of debate; where you know you've lost and don't want to be a good sport about it....is name-calling. I assume agnostics are above that - and more sophisticated than that.

I more called him out, than dissed. He was bashing in his post with misinformation and name calling. I simply pointed out his mistakes and set the record straight in a rather no-nonsense way. I did, however, (why I say I dissed him) use one of the names he used and added that it was "his word, not mine".
I don't even usually do that but used it to drive a particular point home.
I always do my best to use facts ( I do fact check), rather than passing opinion off as fact, and I don't typically resort to name calling either.
His post did get under my skin and I was ready to 'fight' but again, I would use facts.
He hasn't responded, but my post has actually opened up a really good discussion about the differences in Health care in Canada and the US.
So even though I never got my 'fight' I'm very happy I was able to start the discussion.
(edit: yes I did use the term 'jackass' here, but that here...)
@scurry ...and you are from the land that - if only it weren't so cold...I would call home myself.
Your health care is great, your fossil fuel prices are prohibitive (you have a high. tax, we have practically none - so we get more car pollution and more I.C.E. car sales)....and you just legalized Cannabis.....so you're doing what we only wish we could do.
Here's an idea; why don't you blokes buy Puerto Rico? It's a serious fixer-upper...you could then own a tropical island...wow!

And I suppose it is redundant in this context, thought might not always be the case.
