They are literally "trolling" - as in throwing out bait for suckers to bite....I've heard/read from more than one source that a few nerds threw this "pseudo-proof" that the earth was flat (looks flat to me) to make it a "thing" for fools and suckers to bite....and boy have they taken the bait!

There are a lot of people this stupid, like millions of really stupid people in this country alone. How else would you explain the election of trump? But that is an incredibly high level of stupid.

@OldMetalHead To stay home and not vote is another kind of stupid. Anyone who thinks we are better off with trump instead of Clinton is an even higher level of stupid. There is not one sane argument for the election of trump. From his first speech going after Hispanic people to making fun of the gentleman with th disability, if that didn't do it there is something incredibly wrong with the people who thought, "yeah, that's my guy."
