The only time I am even remotely interesting in home decorating is during christmas. I have half a fake tree that hangs on the wall and actually get revved up to do something with it. Must be memories from childhood christmases which were pretty good.

Love Dethklock!!! I agree about the tree's, stupid tradition! Never liked cutting down tree's just to decorate and watch it die.

@OldMetalHead Every year (since 2004) we get at least one of the three fake trees out of storage building and check it for mouse turds.
In 2003, someone cut off a large branch of a Douglas fur and threw it in a ditch. I put it in the truck and told new spouse "We got a Christmas tree!" Never told her where it came from.
@OldMetalHead I do too, it was such an awesome show! Miss it!
@OldMetalHead, @WonderWartHog99 My ex husband on purpose bought one for the kid's to bring home knowing how I always felt about it. We had an awesome bon fire that night!
@altschmerz I know! That was the best show in my opinion on that channel! My kid's and I watched it every Sunday night!
@altschmerz I'm a metal fan and I loved the show! I have 3 seasons on DVD and two CD's which one I can't find, I think one of my kid's took it when they moved out! Lol

It bothers me too, but my farmer neighbors in upstate NY make a living by raising and selling large quantity of xmas tree shipments to NYC.
