Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.When I was studying early Christianity Q was a designation for the Quelle Document, a theoretical lost early document believed to be the source for a couple of the Gospels. (Thus explaining their similarities.) Whether that is still an active pursuit among scholars today I have no idea. (Quelle, of course, being German for "source".)
